Ill Manors - Music Video

How is it typical of a music video

When Plan B himself is taking part in the music video in the parking lot and the rooftop on the council house, they also contain scenes when Plan B is directly addressing the audience by lip syncing the song which is a common thing for music videos however between some of the scenes in the music video it contains animated scenes of Plan B mocking British Politicians like David Cameron and Nick Clegg.

How does it represent the London riots/rioters?

Plan B allows to showcase how some things are ignored in the British media and how some things are ignored due to the representation having to change other peoples dominate opinion of a character for example in one of the scene you see a policemen attack a protester for no reason and that was completely ignored by the British media because they were focusing on the protesters disturbing modern day society.

What audience pleasures does it offer?

I'm not sure due to this type of music not appealing to me however I believe that it would appeal to a younger demographic in comparison to a older demographic because Plan B himself wants to target younger audiences he mentions that in his Tedx Lecture also it contains a lot of model day swearing and contains a lot of urban culture in the music video itself for example Blackberry phones, jogging suits and stealing products like TV's and trainers.

How does the music video help to promote the film?

It contains characters in the movie in the music video itself and the and song and the movie share the same title so people that like the music video may want to see the movie as well because it's producted by Plan B as well and might appeal towards them.
