Ill Manors Print: Branding

Ill Manors decided to use print pictures that showcase the idea of being a product of our environment by having a picture that is representative of the environment that they are in. This picture showcases the main lead (Riz Ahmed) vomiting over a building this shows that the environment that he's in is terrible and he's vomiting over council houses which Ben Drew himself has consistently mention before that the media showcases people that live in council houses are the scum of the earth which further boosts the vision that Plan B is trying to replicate. Also they have used the title of the film as a way to interact with the character as well.

The title of the film is plotted right in the middle of the film poster with all of the main characters placed around the logo and council houses also placed around the main characters as well further talking about the idea of your a product of your environment which was mentions in the previous advert which as also a theme that consistently appears in all of the film posters that all of them contain council houses. Also they used bright colours in all three posters with no themes towards it as well accept the first which highlights the vomit.

With this film poster it highlights the council houses and the characters due to the council houses and the characters are in a black and white filter in comparison to the rest of the picture which is bright red, but with all three of the film posters they all showcase the main characters being products to their environments because in every picture the council houses are always around them or are prominent in the picture as well this helps with promoting the film poster because they will stand out from the rest of the film posters in 2012 and people that are interested in the underground film scene would be interested like reformers would like this type of film because it showcases the environment that they were in.
